Lindsay & Cam met in October 2022 through mutual friends while at Butler University. After a long general chemistry lab, they went with a group to Atherton Union for dinner together. Cam was pretty quiet that night, and Lindsay found herself asking questions to get him to open up. After that evening, they started spending more time together: studying, hanging out, and slowly getting to know each other.

By November 2022, Cam was ready to start dating, but Lindsay asked if we could stay friends a little longer to build a stronger foundation. That time turned out to be really meaningful for us.

On March 17, 2023, they officially started dating. Not long after, they were faced with their first big challenge: long distance. Just weeks later, Lindsay left to study abroad in Italy, and they spent a month in completely different time zones. Even though it wasn’t easy, it showed them how strong their connection was and how much they truly meant to each other.

That summer, they were finally able to spend more time together: visiting each other’s homes and attending our first wedding together. Being apart had only made them closer, and they quickly learned how much they valued having each other in their lives.

On April 8, 2024, they experienced the solar eclipse together at Butler. Watching it on campus made it even more special, and it became one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments where everything paused, and they got to take it in together.

As their relationship continued to grow, so did their ability to support each other through every high and low. Whether it was school stress, big transitions, or celebrating milestones, they have always been each other’s rock. That support has become one of the most important parts of their relationship.

Over time, they also made so many memories with each other's families, traveling together to Florida and Arizona, and continuing to grow even closer through every stage of life.

Summer 2025 was especially meaningful because they were both in Indianapolis for internships. After years of long distance, experiencing everyday life together felt incredibly special. They loved exploring Indy: trying new restaurants, discovering coffee shops, and spending time with friends. They also went to the Indiana State Fair, where they pet animals, tried classic fair food, and enjoyed a perfect summer day. We spent many nights out with Cam's roommates at local bars and spots, truly settling into life in the city together.

In August 2025, we continued making memories: exploring both Indy and Cincinnati, trying new places together, and enjoying time with friends. That same month, the guys came down to Cincinnati and went to a Reds vs. Cardinals game (and the Reds won!), which was such a fun weekend together.

In December 2025, they went to the Christkindlmarkt in Carmel with Cam’s parents, which was such a special holiday memory. That same month, Cam came to Cincinnati to take care of Lindsay after her wisdom teeth procedure, where Lindsay refused to let go of him and just walked around holding onto his sweatshirt the entire time.

Looking ahead, Cam began his job with AES Restaurant Group in Zionsville, Indiana, in February 2026, marking the start of his career and their next chapter in Indiana. They are also so excited for July 2026, when they will move into a townhouse in the Fishers area during Lindsay's pharmacy school rotation year and officially start living together.

On March 17, 2026, exactly three years after they started dating, Cam proposed in Holcomb Gardens at Butler University, bringing everything full circle back to where their story began. After the proposal, Cam surprised Lindsay with a dinner celebration at Mama Carolla’s, where both of their families and closest friends were waiting to celebrate with them. It was such a fun and exciting way to end the day, surrounded by the people they love most. It was the easiest “yes,” and they are so excited for this next chapter and to celebrate with everyone at the wedding on June 12th, 2027!
